"Avoid This Place at All Costs"
This place is just awful. During my week-long stay, a drunk lady confronted me in the lobby at 3:30 AM. I had gotten up early to do some laundry, and she stumbled into the laundry area, reeking of booze, and offered me a beer. I had to call the cops on her.

They’ve got grills on the patio, but it’s mostly a hangout for smokers. If you step out there while they’re puffing away, it’s like you’re choking on smoke. Plus, the grill doesn’t light with the ignition switch; you’ve gotta use a lighter to get it going.

When I posted a review on another travel site, the owner flipped out. He demanded I take it down or I’d have to check out the next day. I changed it a bit, but it was still truthful. He wasn’t happy and ended up kicking me out.

They do have free laundry, but the heavy door to the fitness and laundry area is usually held open by a trash can overflowing with all kinds of junk. It often goes unemptied for days.

I thought Alfred, the night clerk, was a decent guy, but you can hardly hear him when he talks. One night I called, and I wasn’t even sure he was still there. I could hear him breathing, but he didn’t say a word.

The phone in the room is so muffled that you can barely catch what the front desk staff are saying if they call you.

Seriously, steer clear of this place. If you try to reach their corporate office, you’ll be on hold forever.

"Awful Cleaning Standards"
This review focuses on the Candlewood Suites in Idaho Falls. To start, the service was just plain awful. When I checked into my room, it was in complete disarray. The bed was poorly made, the toilet was filthy, and there was hair all over the shower. I went out to the hallway and spotted a housekeeper, asking if she knew who was responsible for cleaning my room. She checked a little chart and mentioned a co-worker named Chyna. I then inquired at the front desk, but they claimed no one by that name worked there. However, on my way back to my room, I actually saw her in the hallway. This hotel is a disaster, and I have no good words for Chyna.

"Disgusting Condition of the Sheets"
I found bloody scabs and blood on the sheets during my stay. Checked into Candlewood Suites in O’Fallon, IL on 12/19/2019 around 1:30 am. My wife and I were exhausted from driving all day, so we hit the hay right away. Fast forward to about 8:00 am, and we woke up to a nasty surprise—bloody scabs and blood on our bedding. It wasn’t ours; neither of us had any cuts. Clearly, the room hadn’t been cleaned since the last guests. Everything was just filthy. I didn’t even get a look at the room before crashing. Who knows what kind of diseases the previous occupant might have had—AIDS, Coronavirus, hepatitis, Tuberculosis, Malaria, or worse? I’ve got pictures to back up my claims about the room’s condition. I chose this place over a cheaper hotel across the street, thinking it would be cleaner. Boy, was I mistaken about Candlewood Suites. I asked the manager if she could help me find out who stayed in my room last so I could ask them some health questions. I even suggested she have them call me instead of giving me their number, but she flat out said NO. I requested the main number for the IHG Executive Office to discuss getting my wife and I tested, and again, she said NO. I asked for a refund for the seven hours we spent there, and she told me NO, saying I should have asked for it the same day I checked in, not the next. I kept insisting that I checked in that morning, so it was still the same day, but she wouldn’t budge. I started recording on my phone, and she bolted out of the room, all flustered, claiming I couldn’t film her. It was quite the scene. Meanwhile, a young desk clerk just sat there grinning at her frantic boss. Now I’ve shelled out over $300 for blood tests, and my doctor wants me to take more, including a Coronavirus test, since the first known case was back on November 17, 2019. My wife and I really need to get tested, but we can’t afford it. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here; they don’t clean their rooms and couldn’t care less about your well-being. I want a full refund from Candlewood Suites, but they’ve ignored all my attempts to reach out. I need to get more blood tests done before it’s too late.

"Nice hotel room with most stuff…"
Nice hotel room with most stuff avaliable. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Our problem was solved within 5 minutes. Excellent location very close to subway to Manhattan and walk along the river. I stayed at Candlewood Suites New Jersey.

"Docklands London Crowne Plaza Hotel"
Docklands London Crowne Plaza Hotel. The pool is only available for kids from 3 PM to 6:30 PM, which is super inconvenient. Our keycards for the room didn’t work, and we wasted a lot of our vacation dealing with that issue. The window wouldn’t close, so we had to sleep in a chilly 10°C. Plus, the room door jumps off the hinges when you open it.

"Avoid InterContinental Berlin at all costs!!!"
Our trip to InterContinental Berlin was in early December 2018. Upon checking out, the hotel failed to return our 50 Euro deposit. That's just plain theft! We reached out to them multiple times, but still no refund!!! Seriously, steer clear of this place!!!!!

"Reservation Mix-Up at Crowne Plaza London"
I reserved two rooms at Crowne Plaza King's Cross through their website. On the day I was supposed to check in, I thought I'd double-check my booking online, and to my surprise, I found out that the hotel had changed my reservation without informing me, which resulted in two total strangers being assigned to share a bed! I attempted to fix this issue by calling the hotel repeatedly, but it was a total dead end. I finally reached out to the head office, but I kept getting disconnected after waiting for about 10 minutes each time. I wasted nearly two hours trying to sort out a simple booking error that wasn’t my fault. Luckily, my guests enjoyed their stay, but after all the trouble I went through, I won’t be booking with them again.

"Luxury Stay at the Intercontinental Dublin - A 5-Star Experience"
This hotel is absolutely fantastic. Nestled in the famous Ballsbridge neighborhood, it’s super convenient to get around Dublin with buses, trams, and roads nearby. The views around the place are quite lovely too.

The dining options are top-notch, and the amenities include a gym, a swimming pool, and parking. Breakfast is a real treat. The staff are warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable.

The Executive rooms are particularly nice and cozy, especially that massive king-size bed! If you’re planning a trip to Dublin, I can’t recommend this place enough.

Thanks for an unforgettable stay in Dublin. Five stars all the way!

"Excellent support from the team."
I had a chat with Vijay at the InterContinental London (The O2) about my reservation for three deluxe rooms since we’re taking the kids to see Ariana Grande and then staying overnight. The service was fantastic; he addressed all my inquiries thoroughly, connected me with his teammates when necessary, and even offered to follow up directly if I had more questions—nothing seemed like too much hassle. Now that’s what I call customer CARE! (Some places, once they’ve got your cash, it’s like you don’t exist anymore). Luckily, that’s not how it is here.

"Paradise Found at Intercontinental Mauritius!"
Honestly, I’m not sure where to kick things off, but here goes. If you’re looking for a second home, top-notch service, delicious meals, and so much more, you gotta check out the Intercontinental in Mauritius! I visited with my family last year and then returned with my partner six months later because we just couldn’t get enough. I can’t recommend the presidential suite enough; it’s hands down the finest room in the place. Everything is spotless, the grounds are stunning, and the entire experience felt incredibly special. The staff are fantastic and treat you like royalty. While the beach isn’t the highlight, I’m definitely planning to return next year because it was simply out of this world. Highly recommend it!!!!!!!!

"Zero stars - Awful service, terrible customer support"
I spent the night at this hotel before catching a flight. As anyone who's stayed in a place like this knows, you usually just wake up, take a shower, and head out! I went to grab a towel for my shower, and when I looked at it, I was horrified to see some really gross stains! With no other towel available, I had to make do with a hand towel.

Upon closer inspection, not only was the towel stained, but it also had a really bad odor. Not exactly what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel, right? It might sound a bit trivial, but a place with that rating should definitely be able to provide at least one decent towel!

I had to dash from the hotel to catch a taxi, which left me no time to voice my complaints, but I planned to do so when I got back. This morning, I tweeted about my experience, and they responded with, "Sorry to hear that. We’d like to help. Please email your contact info, reservation details, and room number to (email address) @CrownePlaza."

I thought, "Wow, quick response!" So, I sent over all the info, but then they hit me with a generic reply saying sorry and that they’d passed my details along. I asked how that was supposed to help me, and they just said they have it on file. On file? I shot back asking HOW DOES THIS HELP ME?????

To sum it up, when you voice a complaint on social media, they do everything to make it seem like they’re going to assist you, but all they really do is collect your info and add it to a file! So when they say, "we'd like to help," what they really mean is they want to waste more of your time!

"Had a Great Time"
The hotel was quite nice. The rates were fair, maybe even a tad better than decent; we snagged a solid deal. I'd suggest them for a pleasant visit. My wife and I had a blast.

"Great hotel experience overall"
I spent 3 days at the Intercontinental Warsaw while on a business trip.

Great hotel experience overall.

The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was good with live harp music :-). The rooms and amenities were nice, plus there’s a spacious gym and swimming pool. Prices are reasonable, and it’s centrally located. I highly recommend this place.
